During the Air Force Honors Banquet and CMSAF Awards hosted by the Air Force Sergeant Association, MSgt Burgos Rodriguez was presented with the Gold Badge, recognizing him as the new National recipient of The Retention Office Manager of the Year Award. Furthermore, recently MSgt Burgos Rodriguez went through one of the most challenging schools the Air Force and the Air National Guard has; Recruiting School. Rated #1 washed back school, been the toughest in the administrative world, Recruiting School did not represent a road block for our Retention Office Manager for the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, who distinctively completed all requirement to become the newest member of the selected group of Recruiters. The National Guard Bureau merged the AFSC of Recruiting and Retention to augment the Recruiting Force. Knowing that mission will follow strength, focus on Recruiting will become part of the new duties of the Retention Office Manager, who will take under his wing the State to State transfers and the Health Professional Recruiting.
