Puerto Rico Air National Guard provides strategic location for KC-135 transatlantic emergency landing.

Security forces, firefighters and emergency responders of the 156th Airlift Wing, Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Puerto Rico provide emergency response to the 127th Wing, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan KC-135 Stratotanker, after reporting engine trouble during their transatlantic airlift mission, Feb. 10, 2016. The PRANG was able to meet the logistical needs of the KC-135 aircrew during their flight emergency due to Puerto Rico's strategic location between the U.S. and Africa.
