Puerto Rico Air National Guard supports hurricane evaucation of over 1,000 U.S. citizens from the island of St. Maarten

George Parkhurst, 156th Operations Group flight, and local first responders await the arrival of the 156AW WC-130H Hercules aircraft transporting U.S. ciitizens rescued from the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, Sept.9. The collaborative efforts of the Kentucky Air National Guard's 123rd Special Tactics Squadron, the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing, and the New York ANG 105th Airlift Wing allowed for over 1,000 U.S. citizen to be evacuated from St. Maarten.
